AI screening interviews
Screen every applicant. Phone-screen the ones worth your time.
Set up one 30-minute AI interview per role, send each candidate a link, and review the recording, the transcript and a per-dimension assessment in about ten minutes. You make the call; the interview does the legwork.
Sign in with your work Google account. No credit card. Candidates need no account at all.
What you review per candidate
- The recording. Screen and audio, exactly as the candidate saw it, with a timeline of what happened when.
- The transcript. Every question and every answer, searchable, next to the video.
- The assessment. Per-dimension notes with reasoning, what was covered and what never came up, and a 0 to 100 signal. A signal, not a verdict.
- Integrity flags. Tab switches, time away, declined recording. Shown as context for you, never as an automatic rejection.
How it works
Three steps. The first one takes about a minute; the interview plan builds itself in about thirty seconds.
- 1
Describe the role
Role, level, interview type, the job description and anything you want covered. We turn it into one interview plan that every candidate for this role follows, so their answers are comparable. Read it, rebuild it if it looks off.
- 2
Send each candidate a link
Add candidates by name and email and copy one link per person into your own email or ATS. Candidates open it on a laptop, consent to the recording, check their mic, take an optional five-minute practice run, then the real 30-minute interview.
- 3
Review and decide
When a candidate finishes, their row shows the AI signal and any flags. Open the review, watch, read, record Advance or Reject with a note, and share a read-only link with the hiring manager. No login needed on their side.
Built for a hiring decision, not a leaderboard
Consistent interviews
One plan per role. Every candidate is asked about the same things, in the same order, by the same interviewer.
Evidence, not a verdict
You get the reasoning behind every dimension and a caveated signal. There is no hire or no-hire label and no ranking; the decision stays yours.
Flags, never auto-rejections
A candidate who left the tab twice is flagged with timestamps next to the recording. Nothing is zeroed or discarded on your behalf.
Hiring-manager hand-off
A read-only link per candidate: recording, transcript, assessment and flags, with no login, no email address and no decision controls.
Fair to candidates
No account, a practice run first, a clear notice of what is recorded and who reviews it, and a person makes the decision.
Your data, your terms

Questions recruiters ask
- Does the candidate need an account?
- No. They open the link, confirm it is them, consent to the recording and start. The link is single-use and expires after seven days by default.
- How long is the interview?
- Thirty minutes, plus an optional five-minute practice run so nobody loses time to the interface. The interview ends on its own.
- What does the candidate see afterwards?
- A confirmation that it was submitted. No score, no feedback, no transcript. What you tell them is your decision.
- Is it proctored?
- By default the screen and audio are recorded with the candidate’s consent, and tab switches or time away are flagged with timestamps. You can turn recording off per screening.
- Which roles does it cover?
- Engineering, data, product, design, security, cloud, support and more. You pick the role and level; the interviewer persona and the assessment rubric follow from it.
- Which email can I sign up with?
- Your work Google account. Independent recruiters and agencies on a consumer email address can email support@interviewstack.io and we will set you up.
- Can my hiring manager see the results?
- Yes. Create a read-only link per candidate. It shows the recording, transcript, assessment and flags, and nothing that lets them change your decision.
